Join an inspiring booked tour to paint, draw, and create, in a traditional English setting.

Itinerary
1:00pm – Group meetup at Heathrow International Airport in London for transfer to Bourton-on-the-Water.
4:00pm – Arrive at Bourton-on-the-Water. Check into lodging. Meet for introductions and intro lessons.
6:30pm – Group dinner at The Mousetrap Inn in Bourton-on-the-Water
8:30am – Class at the cottage
10:00am – Sketching by the river
Lunch on your own at a local restaurant or tearoom, then explore the town on your own. Learn your way around, do some shopping, or sketch a little more, if you like.
You have the option of visiting the Bourton Model Village. It is open between 10:00am - 3:45pm. Admission is £4.50, payable locally.
4:00pm – Meet at the cottage for social hour or to work on sketches started earlier.
Take the river walk into town to dinner.
Dinner on your own in Bourton-on-the-Water
8:30am – Your day starts with a class at the hotel.
10:00am – You will be picked up at the hotel and driven to Hidcote Manor Garden (Admission included).
10:30am – Your entrance time to Hidcote Manor Garden. Tour the gardens and sketch.
Lunch on your own at the onsite café
3:00pm – You will be picked up and driven to Kiftsgate Court Gardens. (Admission included) Tour the garden, go for a walk, and take photos.
5:00pm – You will be picked up and driven back to the hotel. On your way back you will stop by Blockley to have a look around.
Dinner on your own in Bourton-on-the-Water
8:30am – You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Broadway Tower Country Park for sketching and walking. (Tower Museum and Grounds Admission included). You will be able to access the grounds from 9am so you can go in early. Sketch Broadway Tower and panoramic views beyond.
11:00am – Access to Broadway Tower and Museum.
12:30pm – You will be picked up and driven to town of Broadway to sketch, have lunch, and enjoy some afternoon shopping in Broadway on your own. You have the option of visiting Broadway Museum & Art Gallery. An adult ticket is £5, and it is payable locally.
4:30pm – You will be picked up from Broadway and taken back to the hotel.
Dinner on your own in Bourton-on-the-Water
8:30am – Your day starts with a class at the hotel.
10:30am – You will be picked up and driven to Snowshill Manor and Gardens (Admission included).
11:00am – Your entrance time to Snowshill Manor and Gardens.
Have lunch at the onsite café on your own.
Tour the house/museum and gardens, then spend time sketching.
5:00pm – You will be picked up from Snowshill Manor and driven back to the hotel.
6:30pm – Group dinner in Bourton-on-the-Water
8:30am – Your day starts with a class at the hotel.
10:00am – You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Dover’s Hill in Chipping Campden to see the panoramic view and take photos.
11:00am – You will then be driven into Chipping Campden. Here you can stroll down High Street, see the Wool Market, visit the art gallery and shops, and stop by the historic village church.
Lunch on your own (or wait for afternoon tea at 4:00)
1:00pm – You will be picked up and taken to Lower Slaughter for an afternoon of painting.
3:45 pm – You will be picked up and taken to Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter for a full afternoon tea at 4:00 pm.
5:30 pm – Return to the hotel.
8:30am – Your day starts with a class at the hotel.
9:30am – You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Sudeley Castle (Admission included).
10:30am – Your entrance time into Sudeley Castle. There will be a sketch demo in the garden.
11:00am – Tour the castle, meander through the gardens.
Lunch at the onsite café on your own
4:30 pm – You will be picked up from Sudeley Castle and driven back to the hotel.
Dinner on your own in Bourton-on-the-Water
8:30am – A final class and the time to finish up sketches.
10:30am – Free time. Here are some options:
• Work on sketches in the studio.
• Take a walk in the countryside.
• Visit the Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection in Bourton-on-the-Water. It is open between 10am and 6pm. Admission is £8.50 and payable locally.
• Visit Cotswold Farm Park and see rare species and heritage breeds of cows, goats, chickens, horses, etc. This would be a great sketching opportunity if you like to draw animals. (We have the option of arranging transportation for the group to go together, if there is sufficient interest.)
3:00 pm – Final get-together
6:00 pm – Your day ends with a final group dinner in Bourton-on-the-Water.
8:45am – The tour ends. Check out of lodging.
9:00am – You will be picked up at the hotel and taken to Heathrow. Drop-off at Heathrow will be at approximately 11:00-11:30am.
